Relationships in real life are complicated, ever-changing organisms that rarely conform to the societal standards of binary monogamy and heteronormativity.
I do *NOT* want to imagine the person who thought up that sentence as trying to act seductive on a date.
Oy.
Though I think back when I was age 17-20, I might have actually enjoyed discecting something like that. But nowadays, I do NOT want to think that hard about my relationships. LOL!
P.S. I think it's "binary monogomay" that gets me tittering. I didn't know C3PO had a girlfriend .... ;-)
If only I could do the same. I think that right now my m.o. is that I get too crazy if I date, so -- I'm not dating. Ah well. I'd love to find someone who would change my mind!
