I love constant thunder.

We're in a stormy weather pattern at the moment, and while most of the day was beautiful, the clouds rolled in and it is raining now. But for the last little while we've had rolling thunder - the constant groan/rumble of thunder that sounds close and then farther away. It moves from one area to another, but there isn't a moment that isn't punctuated with thunder.

It is almost gentle, in that stormy way. It isn't raining hard, yet, and it might not at all, but the thunder keeps rolling around. You definitely know that there is WEATHER happening, but it isn't happening on top of you... yet. No lightening that can be seen, but thunder is flirting with the area.

The windows are open, and I am looking forward to the rain tonight. Although, I will be sad if the Intarwebz go out again tonight. Last night I went to bed fairly early since the 'net went down around ten and didn't come back.

I love that break the sky kind of thunder. Those sharp cracks that sound like breaking wood only louder. Awesome.

Ahhh, I love that kind of stormy weather too. It's an all-around sensation, as if you are sharing the space, as opposed to under attack [siege] when weather can truly be frightening. Sounds lovely. :)

Oh, to have some of that. And rain, I love it when it's coming down sideways, but isn't a deluge. Lovely stuff to just mellow to.
