Weekend...

So the dance studio shows went. The third show was by far the most entertaining. Show five was okay, too - mostly because the girl playing Sebastian was terrific.

I went from there directly to rehearsal last night for the WP EMACT entry - it is coming along! And then home to be fifteen minutes late for the Portus meeting (which lasted past eleven). Full full day yesterday. On the go from nine am on.

I did stop for a chai latte (mmmm chai latte) in the morning on my way to the theatre for light check. I saw my mom and her friends working on some display stuff for the Clever Hand. I went in to say hello - they were changing a window (theme: April Showers Bring May Flowers) and the window was appropriately purples and pastels. My mom has designed a butterfly mobile for the theme and there was one hanging in the window. The design is really well thought-out, and I know she has wanted to do a butterfly mobile for a long time. Well, she figured it out, and the three dimensional butterflies are lovely.

In other news, I slept poorly last night, and am dragging a little today in reaction...

I wish I did! The store's Web site only has photos of the house portraits and not her more whimsical, creative and colorful mobiles. I'll have to ask her if she has pictures!
