Made it from San Jose to Dallas with no trouble (and a really QUICK layover - almost-missed-the-plane-like layover - in Denver.

But Dallas is coldish. The hotel is fabulous, and the company sublime. Planning for Portus is going along smashingly. The hotel liaison actually gets us! Love people in the know!

Going into meetings soon.

Y'all be good! (dang, the southern accents are gettin' to me!)

God, I miss texas. I miss the cowboys, the smells (okay, let me give a more accurate description, I lived in Lubbock, which is a college town and surrounded by alpha farms and horse (with a few cow) ranches, I miss *that* smell - good, clean country), the sounds, the boots, the jeans, the food, the "Strip" and Pinky's (lived in a dry county, had to go the *strip* to buy alcohol), fast cars and two stepping with men that really did know how. I miss "ma'am", "y'all" and a dip of cowboy hat covered head as an acknowledgment, usually with a mile wide smile and twinkling eyes. I miss Matt *sigh*...

Apparently I miss a lot of things about Texas.
