My Sister-in-Law is incubating a BOY! After two girls, she needs to pick up some different knitting yarn for the baby blanket. How exciting! A wee boy to round out their family.

We celebrated my mom's birthday today, and apart from some little girl shrieking (B has got quite the high-pitched squeal) and hysterical dramatics (also B) it was a lovely lovely day. And my mom told me its a boy... So I teased my brother about balancing out the estrogen in the house (wife, two daughters, female dog) and also that he and K are now going to be out-numbered by their wee sprogs. They are contemplating getting a slightly larger car, because as M said, they can't get three car-seat/booster-seats in the Outback.

My mother was also showing off her chops on the iPhone (she's had four lessons so far and can take pictures, and learned today how to surf the Web. She can also make and take phone calls - but her homework is to send and receive text messages by next Saturday, which is her next lesson).

I hope everyone had as nice a day (in spite of the weather - we got surprise snow!).

I know! Soooo exciting. Although, now the timeline for the "addition" on their house is down from five-year-plan to realistically two-ish. The shell is up, and it is weather tight, if not insulated yet. My dad is trying to get my brother to agree to have him hire the electrician and plumber to get the addition that much closer to complete. The addition will (slightly) more than double the square footage of the house, so instead of them being crammed into this tiny Cape-style bungalow, they'd have a still-smaller-than-the-rest-of-the-block house with three/four bedrooms instead of the two they have now. M and K are using the den/study as their bedroom while the girls each have a room. I suppose if the ceilings were higher in the bedrooms they might have put the girls together, but the ceilings are at most six foot two or three inches high (my brother can stand upright, but only just, and he is not quite 6 feet tall).

I just want to know what they're planning on naming the sprog. Something Italian, no doubt, to go with Graziella and Bellina (Grazi and Lina for short). I'm partial to Luca or Lucien. We'll see!

♥ you back!
