So I was out most of the day yesterday and got home around 9:30pm... Exhausted, because I am still adjusting to the time change from the Czech Republic.
I start my evening ablutions and sit down to watch a little TV before going to bed. Around eleven there is this cracking/snapping sound and the gushing of water.
Only me. The toilet tank spontaniously busticated, and water was spraying *everywhere*. I quickly flush the toilet to get rid of most of the water in the tank, pull off the top of the tank and lift the part that makes the water turn on. Keeping the flapper open to drain all the rest of the water, I stare around at the quarter inch of water on the floor - and spreading towards the door.
I jam the lever up with a random toothbrush, mop up most of the water, decide I can't do anything else, and go to bed. Today I have the joy of finding a plumber and a new toilet. I was going to eventually replace the toilet, but now I *have* to. Grrrrr.
So to cheer myself up I found this on my flist:
The Supernatural Impala Awards. So good for a laugh, and I needed one!
