Oddness today

Leaving the craft store tonight after stopping to pick up a couple of things I saw a small red car with its hazard lights on idling at the curb. It was completely covered with all different colored post-it notes. Dude, post-it notes?

And each one was written upon like it was a huge fotune cookie fortune. Or maybe those candy hearts with messages on them.

Can you see it speeding down the street and every so often one of those sticky notes reaches escape velocity and flutters away to be picked up and read by some random stranger?

Okay. That actually sounds kinda cool. I'd love to randomly find one of those little notes. :D

I passed by the car quite close and the one note I saw said "te amo" - I think it would have been funny to see a note detatch and then run to see what someone thought was so important they covered a car in candy-colored notes...

I didn't want to gawk too much as I think there was someone (or someones, as the car was quite steamed up) in the car, and the evening was quite cold. (12 degrees when I left the house this morning, brrr!)

Hmm, yeah, probably not the time to be interrupting whatever was going on inside -- and whatever had prompted the notes, then the goingsons -- to inspect the many post-its. Hee.
