When you find a screw or bolt on the floor, especially in an area where you have not been fixing something, or putting something together, it is logical to pick it up and, this is the important part, FIND OUT WHAT IT CAME OUT OF! Don't just pick it up and set it on the counter for days or weeks.

Yeah. *sigh* There's the rub. Actually remembering the little memos to self when they are needed.
