So this past weekend was the dance studio's spring show, the one I run lights for. They chose "Robots" as this year's frame and there were *six* shows. In two days. *SIX*! Usually they have four shows in two days but because the middle school auditorium is not available we were in the high school auditorium which is *just**that**much**smaller* so it required six performances to get all six hundred or so students seen by mothers, fathers, grandparents, siblings, etc.

The owner of the dance studio is also moving the studio into new space this summer. She bought a building and the studio will take the whole second floor of it. Four brand new studios, 10,000 square feet of space. Um, wow. So good for them!

I am still exhausted from the three-shows-a-day thing. "Robots." It was better than "Emperor's New Groove" last year. And there is always the one kid who has an actual part who can't find their light. We had spot light ops who worked overtime because they didn't do anything the same twice in a row and getting light on them was a challenge. Let's not go into the short comings of the technical abilities of the high school.

A couple of our munchkins from Oz take classes at the dance studio and I saw them again.

Other news... Um... I am really looking forward to vacation this year because work is really getting into massive suckage right now. On the other hand, spring has sprung well and truely, even though it is still cold at night. I've got flowers blooming, a lawn covered in dandilions, and a magnolia tree in the back that the squirrels haven't denuded of blossoms (yet). I am looking forward to warm enough weather to throw open the windows and air out the house.

And I am making small stabs at writing again. I got a couple of different challenges nearly finished. So that's all to the good, right?
