copperbadge does his "three things" every week for House and CSI... I am going to adapt this three things for last night's "Without a Trace" episode, because someone wrote a crackfic and it somehow got produced as an episode.



1. The ex-con named Pookie Bear. And Viv calling him "Mr. Bear."

2. The female agoraphobic (who self admits she's never been gay before) in love with her assistant. Her Mob-boss's-daughter-turned-assistant. Which gives us

3. The mob boss and his henchmen bowling. How did they get to the bowling alley, anyway, and how did they know Mob-boss's-daughter would be there? Is *everyone* following the FBI in this episode?

3a. Danny and Jack singing the popular bits to "That's Amore" at the end of the episode, where everyone is bowling. Um... Did the episode run a little short? Is this filler? Is this outtakes?

Who was high while writing this episode? It had moments of case-work, and admitedly it was a lot more lighthearted than most episodes. I mean, she wasn't kidnapped, she just paid someone to forcibly remove her from her own apartment so she could have this grand gesture of trying to reclaim her life so she could claim the woman she'd fallen for. As grand gestures go, it was pretty big on the scale for a personal shift of world-view. But between the kid on the walkie-talkie and the ex-con with the gun, and the mob boss, and the dry-cleaning delivery guy, not to mention her ex-best-friend who blames himself for her agoraphobia.

Okay. So in other news I have both Wizard of Oz drops and Millennium High School in Arizona should be getting their forest drop on Monday. The drop rental company made sure *my* drop arrived on time (by shipping it overnight instead of 2nd day air - on their dime, by the way), even if they shipped me the Arizona High School's rental first. I've forwarded that drop on and kept my own. I looked them up - Millennium High, they're doing Midsummer Night's Dream - starting Wednesday. I am glad I didn't cut ours that close - we go up on next Saturday - the drop will be hung on Sunday, almost a full week for it to pull all the wrinkles and fold lines out of it.

Note to self - keep the boxes for the drops in your car. Do not leave them in Sorenson. Right. Mental PostIt in place.

A lot of people are doing that list of names meme that has been going around. I haven't sat down and figured out mine, but for one... The "Fly girl/Fly guy name" (take the first letter of your first name, and the first three letters of your last name. Mine is kinda cool. "A-Vez." I'll probably figure out if this is fun enough to figure out and post tomorrow (really later today).
