Very very busy weekend coming for which I'll be completely OFFLINE (well, as offline as someone can be with a smartphone). My computer is getting sent away tomorrow to update the operating system.
I hope to have it back Monday afternoon or Tuesday morning. It is necessary that it get updated because one of the conferencing tools I regularly use has been updated to the point my operating system is no longer compatible (actually, the Java required will not work on my OS - so must update the OS to get the most updated Java so the conferencing tool will work).
Pain in the ASS.
But there it is. This weekend is the dance studio show - they're doing Peter Pan. I will end up seeing the show four times by the time it is over. Oy. But they pay me - and I understand the set is extremely simplified, so strike should be a snap.

Oh - something fun - not this weekend, but NEXT weekend Gwen and I are going to the Steampunk Festival (here is the facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/pages/Steampunk-Festival/234046964955). Since it is happening in Gwen's town, we thought, why not? (here is the Web page for the museum that is putting the town-wide festival: http://www.crmi.org/)
