I found it completely satisfying. Because while we guessed at some of it (I totally called Jimmy-meeting-with-the-sheriff, btw), some of it was a surprise. I think the *scope* of the story made me the happiest. I can't wait until it is released on DVD and I can do a weekend marathon of all of them back-to-back. Just to piece together what we saw/knew when.
So did flambee girl *ever* get found (what the heck was her name)? And Cousin Bob (Ben? Brett?) was he ever found - y'know, the very first corpse? And poor JD - all about Abby, indeed.
So good! Do you agree? I wish more programming was this interesting - love that it was limited to twelve weeks, sort of a maxi-series.
i was bouncing in my seat watching it. what an awesome series, and i totally agree... can't wait for it to come out on dvd for a weekend marathon!
yeah, i don't think that girl ever did get found. and i also don't think they figured out exactly what happened to malcolm.
someone, somewhere had called the henry thing. while i could "see it coming", in that there were fewer and fewer suspects, i didn't call it as early on as they did.
i don't think they ever did find the chewed up cousin. let's call him fishbait.
i will say that the deaths this week were the hardest to watch. cuz at this point, i LOVE sully and danny, and i was screeching, hoping that they would make it. but alas, no.
i think limiting it to the twelve weeks was such an awesome idea... really gave it that "go for it all" feeling... cuz this was it! there is no next season!
i hope that there comes another series like this at some point. a one-shot season type of thing. cuz there really was a lot done in those twelve weeks that isn't done over multiple seasons of other shows.
Well, they did find Malcolm's skull in the furnace. So, while they didn't *know* it was him, they knew it was somebody. And yeah, I think Chloe, Cal and Danny were the hardest deaths to take (I so wanted the blondes to make it). Sully kinda irritated me, but in the end - "protect your kid, get out of here" he kinda grew on me.
So THAT is what the money was for! Poor Malcolm. It would have been his, anyway - so much angst. Yeah, one of my flist called the Henry thing a few weeks ago.
I agreed with her reasoning, but I did *not* predict just how batshit crazy Henry ended up being. And wow, creative with the sheer number of *ways* people died.
We knew they wouldn't kill off Madison - creepy girl is creepy, but still just a kid.
Totally enjoyable! I do hope they take a cue from this and take a chance on some one-season kind of shows. So much better than that "reality" crap.
