Massive flooding in Dallas today... and thunderstorms and downpours, and leaky ceilings and lakes where parkinglots used to be. Give a hand for the NOC - they had to move rooms (leaky ceilings) so they took the network down and went down the hall and brought the network back up. The network was down for about twenty minutes.
More and more stranded motorists were routed off the roads into the hotel by the police. The stream in back of the hotel has flooded it's banks and is now flowing through the employee parking lot. More rain tonight. More and more people are wandering around with no socks and shoes on because they've been wading in water up to their knees. I am on the 14th floor, thank you very much, and quite dry (so far).
It is 11:30pm (central time) and time for BED! Have to be up at the ass-crack of dawn tomorrow...
