Okay, I've been sifting through all the catalogues that have come in via the mail in the last couple of months. I've found one that *I* find kind of disturbing, but I don't know. It's a catalogue for "My Twinn" dolls.

Now, I have two nieces - one of which is just old enough for dress-up dolls (G will be 4 this January). I probably got the catalogue because I ordered magazines for G and B for their birthdays last year. I try to offset any toy or clothing gift with an educational or book gift. So they both got a dress(B)/shirt and jeans (G) plus the magazine subscription.

So yeah, I expect to get catalogues geared toward kids stuff once in a while, but to have a doll made that looks similar to a child? Isn't that just creepy? Or is it just me (keep in mind I have no kids of my own and just don't know)? Mothers of daughters want to comment? Explain to me why or why not.

ETA: Iguess it's not just girls, they have My Twinn Boy dolls, too... Also kinda creepy? Mothers of sons can weigh in, too!
