So Gwen and I are working our way (very very slowly) through the Wii Lego Harry Potter (Year one through four) game. Most of our gaming "sessions" consist of conversation that consists mostly of
"what the hell are we trying to do here?"
"No idea. Just... are we smashing things?"
"I guess."
"Okay."
"What the hell are we doing here?"
"I don't know."
"Is there a point to this part of the game?"
"No idea."
"Okay."
"Y'know if I hadn't read the books or seen the movies I'd be completely lost as to what the hell is supposed to be going on."
"Yeah."
...and so on for about an hour and a half (or about two chapters). Most of the stuff the Web sites talk about I guess we have accomplished, but most of the time we have no idea we've actually accidentally done so until we move on. Part of this might be the TV we're playing on (her 13 inch) - because we can't actually TELL what we're doing, and aiming is difficult.
Ah well, it is fun anyway.
