At my brother's again this year, I hear through my parents. Of course, my brother didn't tell me this himself, and my parents were a little surprised I didn't know. I hope they don't expect me to bring anything, because a.) Thanksgiving is fully home cooked from scratch according to K's family's traditions b.) I don't really cook, and c.) the last time I made something for their Thanksgiving dinner I had to make about four times before I got one that was palatable. Oh! And D.) I am going to be out of the state on business travel from November 13 to November 22, I have a commitment all day on the 23rd, and I don't really have the time to plan to cook something. Ah well.

One more thing that annoys me - no pictures of L yet. The kid is four months old, and my brother hasn't taken any pictures of him! My desire for photos passed pathetic a couple of months ago. Note to self - be a pest with a camera on the Day.

I will hopefully use some of the time that day to figure out what the girls want for Christmas. I know G just got an American Girl Doll - I don't know which one. I know B will get one for Christmas from her maternal grandparents - but I again, I don't know which one. I don't know whether they want clothes for these dolls, or what. They are currently sharing a fairly small room - two beds, two desks, both items my brother made from scratch to fit into the space they have. So I have no clue what an almost seven year old and almost five year old girl would want. One of which is a GIRL and one of which is a bit of a tomboy.
