Life Right Now

Just now. *Happy sigh* I work in an office that has fairly regular hours (I am generally there 'til about 7pm), and they work us pretty hard, but then there are days like today. The Office closed at 2pm in preparation for the long holiday weekend, and I didn't have anything pressing enough for me to stay, so I left. And it is 2:30pm and I am home, and the day is pretty and I am going to open the windows and veg for a while (since this weekend is due to be rainy).

It is days like this I don't miss the Bookstore AT ALL... The Bookstore that was open 362 days a year 'til 9pm. Holiday weekends were unheard of. Getting regular days off was a nightmare, and as manager I plugged all the scheduling holes that came up. Yes, Retail was good experience for a few years, but I am glad to be Out of That.

Happiness is getting out early!

And for Project Runway junkies like me... I am *so* happy Kayne made it through the last challenge!
