So I arrived in Dallas on time, and the shuttle to the hotel worked just as it said it would. I have to say, the Dallas airport is great in that you get off the plane and your bag claim is pretty much right there. The hotel is GI-NORMOUS! It is twice the size of my local mall, and I think I am going to need to go to the jacuzzi to relax after every day. The hotel is providing the meeting staff with spa passes! Huzzah! Although, I have to say the beds suck - I was so sore when I got up this morning!

I now have two hours to myself before meetings and laying down cable.

The flight to Dallas was no fun, because in the two rows behind me (directly behind me) was a family of six - with four children ranging in age from about two to about seven. The three little girls were dressed exacly alike. The little boy what a whiny little brat. Between the seat kickage and the climbing and the crying, screaming and throwing things, it was NOT pleasant. I was also in the middle seat with a large gentleman on either side, so I felt a little more claustrophobic than normal. I kept saying to the gentleman on my left when he ruefully looked at me as the Family from Hell got seated, "Oh, no. They are outnumbered. Not a good sign." He laughed. At least he had the father directly behind him, and not Satan's Spawn. No seat kickage for him.

On the other hand, it makes me kind of sick to think I am missing opening night of the Wizard of Oz. Final dress on Thursday night looked good, so we know they (the cast) *can* do it. But I am a thousand miles away. I'll see it next weekend, but still! I miss it! Break a Leg everyone!
