[livejournal.com profile] tea_and_toast you are too cool! I loved seeing "Thoroughly Modern Millie" with you! You absolutely cannot take a trip to New York City and *not* see a show! I hope the rest of your weekend went as well.

[livejournal.com profile] lissinthecity I am so glad I got to meet you! I hope you do come back next year! I hope the rest of your trip here in the States is as fun - and belated Happy Birthday... I look forward to reading more of your stuff in the future!!!

Times Square was fabulous to visit, but I wouldn't want to be there every day! It would drive me nuts. Give me the rural places, and I am much happier. [livejournal.com profile] gwendolyngrace and I had a fabulous time wandering around the city for two days. [livejournal.com profile] poa_nyc was wonderful, and a fabulous time was had by all. Yes, PoA was a better movie than the first two, but it still had it's share of problems and clarity issues. All in all it was an enjoyable movie and I had a good time seeing a lot of familiar faces from Nimbus - 2003. I suck at names, but I remember *a lot* of you from then - even if Nimbus is still basically a big blur in my memory!

Sunday, [livejournal.com profile] gwendolyngrace and I wandered up to Lincoln Center and found a huge crafts fair going on in the complex. It was wonderful! We wandered through the tented stalls and collected business cards from a number of different artisans. I got lots of good gift ideas from my foray through the aisles - it is so hard to buy for crafty-arty people like my family. Since nearly everyone but my dad is an artist in one form or another, finding unique gifts is difficult!!!

By the time I was to get my train I was happy, but exhausted! [livejournal.com profile] ari_o - wish we could have talked more, but I am sure I'll see you soon! [livejournal.com profile] heidi8 you did a great job, and I hope you are pleased with the way the weekend turned out! Tell Aaron we appreciated him herding us through the city and back again on Saturday evening. Walking through Washington Square at night - what a trip. It was much appreciated that he took it upon himself to make sure we all got where we were going.
