Hmmmm... Strange.

So as I was coming home tonight I encountered an oddness. In the parkinglot of the strip mall that has a pizza place, a chinese takeout place an Ace Hardware and a liquor store, are a number of tents set up. Odd, I thought. Why did someone set up these rather nice maroon and gold striped tents in a parking lot?

Come to find out it's a children's petting zoo with pony rides. Can you imagine? Animals standing around on parking lot pavement? Even if they put straw down, I can't imagine it would be very comfortable for the various animals. I did see the silouette of a camel as I drove by. I don't know. It must be a travelling show. Small, though. I mean it fits into a side bit of the parking lot.

It can't have been there long, I mean it wasn't there when I went by on Monday or Tuesday. I've been going the other way to and from work lately to do other errands on the way.

Anyway. I'm taking my mom to see a local production of "Cabaret" a friend of mine directed tomorrow night. My dad is away, and I thought it'd be nice. I don't think he'd like "Cabaret" anyway. Not his thing. Should be fun for us though.
