So I go the first Cabaret that is not a Cabaret rehearsal tonight and when I am driving home I have a "woah, that's wierd" moment driving through my section of town. No streetlights, and the gas station has a fashlight moving about in it. I get home, and yup. No power. I am sitting in the dark for over an hour before it is restores, but can I say how creepy it is to drive down the street with *no light* anywhere in a fairly heavily settled suburb?
Creepy. Anyway, power is back and everything is okay. I have to re-set all the clocks in the house (except the one that is battery operated). Thankfully it can't have been off too long as the frozen stuff in the freezer was still frozen.
So it was cereal for dinner tonight as I couldn't even toast.
