And it is snowing again! As if the 24ish inches over the weekend weren't enough, there is about another four inches new today, and it is still coming down. Blech.

And on top of that I have tech tonight. We *can not* cancel another rehearsal. Sunday's canceled double tech was hard enough. But we *need* tonights rehearsal because we open on Friday Night! Eeep! And we still have to knock off about ten minutes in each act (true, it's getting faster as the guys moving the revolve get faster at it, and set dressing and props are tooling along at a fast clip as well. We just gotta pick up our cues a little better/faster.

My British accent is getting better. I don't think any one would mistake me for a brit, but I am working on it. Miss F only has four lines, so hopefully I'll be able to pull it off enough to be vaguely believable.

My GiD dress is *fabulous*! It's really the only costume I have that I can do the whole "love your clothes, ladies. This play is about women who *love* their clothes!" As Miss F and Nurse, they're not so much about the clothes. But GiD is *all* about the clothes. And each and every one of us looks amazing. The wigs, hats, hairpieces for this show are amazing. And GB, who is playing Sylvia has the *BEST* costumes. CC as Mary has almost as nice costumes - but Sylvia's clothes are simply incredible. She is definitely one who "loves her clothes."

AG, our costumer, is simply amazing. she has done an absolutely incredible job clothing the 22 of us Women in fabulous thirties style. And about half of us have between three and four characters each! Not just costume changes, but total character changes. I know I have two different hairstyles (they put a long red fall on me, and style it up with all the rest of my hair too!), some have three different hair-dos for the show between their own hair and wigs...

The one thing I am not looking forward to is the body foundation I will need because GiD has quite a bit of chest, back, and arms showing and since I am so pale as to be practically glowing, I need foundation to tone down the glare. I haven't done body makeup since "the King and I" when I stepped in at the last minute to be a King's Wife/Concubine for the Uncle Tom's Cabin Ballet. Little pale, freckled, auburn-haired me - that was amusing.

And I haven't seen [livejournal.com profile] gwendolyngrace in *days*! You out there, hon? I'll see you this weekend, anyway.
