While Halloween is, and will remain, my favorite holiday, mostly because it is a celebration of my favorite time of year, the last year I gave out candy (about three years ago - for various reasons) nearly one hundred kids came to my door (92). That is a hell of a lot of candy. After that, I thought to heck with this!

Costumes I can do. I've got all the costumes I have made and own, plus about a quarter of the costumes owned by my home theatre group (because I ended up with the costumes at the end of a show in the spring and we're moving costume storage anyway so I just kept them for the time being) are living in my front closet.

So costumes aren't a difficulty at all.
