San Diego, DNC and I, Robot...
So Gwen has gone off to the DNC events for the day, and I am doing the last minute bits before I go off to San Diego for a week and a half. I packed last night, and am ready for travel. I have one last thing to do today before the cab to the Logan Express bus terminal, and the plane outta here.
Gwen and I saw "I, Robot" last weekend. WOW - what a good time that was! And they got the "Will Smith Naked Butt Shot" over at the very beginning, so we all could concentrate on the story line (and man, he may have toned down the body a bit since "Ali" but not a lot!). Yes, it becomes a fairly predictable plot, but the action scenes are great, and the car chase is great and the robots were really well designed. And we have much love for Sunny (Sonny?). "I did not murder him!"
Gwen also owns and brought with her "The Red Shoes" (1948) which I don't recall ever seeing. We also saw that last weekend, and it is a good, if not totally believable story. For the time, it was an unprecedented look into the world of dance.
Anyway, I'm off to do my one last errand before the taxi - I will be AFK until Sunday at least!
