Dear Verizon FiOS;

I told your telemarketer when they called me I was not interested, and the young man who arrived at my house - later that same day - and not only RANG THE DOORBELL but POUNDED ON THE DOOR needs training.

I told him that I had already spoken to a representative and was not interested. He went on about the new fibre optics they installed on the street. I told him I was very happy with my current provider of Internet and was not interested. He asked me if I was stealing internet. At which point he lost any good will I ever felt for someone going door to door.

At which point I told him I was not interested in him *or* his product, and he replied with a comment about trying to do me a favor. A FAVOR? No, puppy, you are trying to *sell* me something. A favor is what you do for a friend and neither expect nor require anything in response. Indeed a true favor needs no acknowledgment at all.

I told him I was not interested yet again, and shut the door in his face. Not only did he insult my ethics, but also my intelligence. Based on my experiences, I now wouldn't use Verizon FiOS if it were indeed the ONLY or LAST option left me.

no love,

me
