Aw, Syfy - keep your crazy disaster movies coming!
Why do wilderness spots the whole world over look like a Northern Forest when shown in a Syfy original movie? (rhetorical question)
Awwww... its cute that they think we'll buy that the volcano erupts THAT fast and targets only the Fed's cars following our Intrepid Duo(TM).
How the HELL does EVERYBODY and his brother know about the secret ROD of PROPHECY? It was a mystery for umpteen years and all of a sudden EVERYBODY knows about it!
First Stonehenge is an ancient machine to terraform Earth, now the Easter Island Heads are the power to save us all? Oy!
Aw - death by prophecy rod! couldn't have happened to a nicer baddie!
(wow. magically self-cleaning rods!)
Aw - and the Biggest Baddie kinda went kaplooey all over the place! Nice F/X
And other than the crazy plot, HUGE plot holes, and inexplicable science/archeology it was an okay SyFy offering. They are still writing by committee it seems and I can just imagine the whole writing crowd stuck together in a small room with bad coffee sitting around "well then this happens!" "no THIS" "Aw, we can use BOTH!!!" gleeful hands of crazy. Yeah, "Exposition Boy and Doubtful Girl's Crazy Ass Adventure in Saving the World" would have to be the (implied) subtitle for this movie.
