05/05/05 --- fun fun fun.
I feel like I am drive-by posting today!
Today is 05/05/05! Cinco de Mayo! And just two days ago I saw my first Mama Mallard with Babies. She had about five all roiling around her legs and they crossed the deserted parking lot with much speed (for you know, beings whose legs are about two inches long). Small and fluffy and brown and yellow. So Cute!
Haven't seen any of the geese with babies yet, but if the ducklings are here, huzzah, goslings and cygnets aren't far behind. I have a rabbit I see nearly every night when I get home from work gnawing on my front lawn. I wish he'd bring some friends and gnaw the lawn all the way down, because I really despise lawn maintenence. I'd love to do away with the whole thing. Money and time are big issues standing in the way of that. Luckily, my next door neighbor has a ride-on mower and will use it to tame my front lawn.
So in other news, I have less than a month and I go on vacation! W00t! I can't wait.
